The reef that lies just offshore is home to a variety of colorful marine life, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling enthusiasts. In fact, the beach’s name comes from the tunnels that make their way through the reef creating sea caves and unique places to explore once you don a mask and snorkel. In addition, the beach is relatively uncrowded, which means that you can enjoy a peaceful day in the sun without the crowds you might find at other popular beaches on the island.
