There are plenty of activities to enjoy at Tunnels Beach, Hawaii including snorkeling, swimming, and sunbathing. The reef that lies just offshore is home to a variety of colorful marine life, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling enthusiasts. In addition, the beach is relatively uncrowded, which means that you can enjoy a peaceful day in the sun without the crowds you might find at other popular beaches on the island.
Getting to Tunnels Beach
To reach Tunnels Beach, take the Kuhio Highway past the North Shore town of Hanalei nearly to the very end where the road dead ends into Haena State Park.
