The menu at Hukilau Lanai offers dishes made with ingredients fresh from Kauai. They also offer an entirely gluten free menu, as well as a keiki (kids) menu. Start your meal off with an order of sweet potato ravioli, made with the locally popular purple Okinawan sweet potatoes and Kilauea feta cheese and topped with a lemongrass cream sauce.
All entrees come with your choice of several salads, tomato pineapple gazpacho, or the homemade soup of the day. Mains include fresh seafood options that change daily, as well as options from the land such as pork tenderloin and filet mignon. Lasagna and daily pasta specialties are also available. Be sure to request the dessert menu and save some room, as Hukilau Lanai offers several options that are prepared fresh in their own bakery and cater well to the sweet tooth. The coconut cheesecake is a favorite, made on a macadamia nut Nilla wafer crust and topped with pineapple Koloa Rum sauce & strawberry coulis.

Planning Your Meal at Hukilau Lanai
Hukilau Lanai is located in Kauai’s east coast town of Kapa’a at 520 Aleka Loop. They are open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday from 5-8:30pm and are closed Monday and Tuesday. Enjoy live music with dinner on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights. On Sundays they offer a special Food & Wine Tasting, with five courses and five wines for just $50. Reservations are required for dining in at Hukilau Lanai and can be made by calling (808) 822-0600. Takeout is also available.
