Everything was great with one exception. It got rather warm in the living/kitchen area with no A/C. Enjoyed the coffee/ cookie samples. Everything was neat, clean, tidy and comfortable. Really enjoyed the balcony in the early mornings! Convenient location! Overall our stay was very enjoyable!

We were blessed to stay 3 weeks and will be returning for a longer stay next year! We had an issue with the unit and they responded immediately and took care of it. The unit had everything we needed and had a spectacular ocean view. A must is Rainbeau Jo's for coffee and Mermaid Cafe for lunch and dinner. Aloha

We stayed in unit 104, first level of the condo development and what a view! Waterfront property! This is a 1 bedroom unit that is outfitted with everything you could ever need. The unit is clean and well taken care of. We couldn't have picked a better unit. Convenient to most everything on the island really. This property is in Kapa'a which is just minutes from the Lihue airport and centrally located on the East side of the island which is perfect for a short drive to the best beaches on the South and North shores of Kauai. A lot of tourist type outings are close by, such as secret falls and Kauai Backcountry (highly recommended). You can't go wrong booking this unit for your stay in Kauai!

Nice condo with everything you need. We stayed for three nights after extending our stay on Kauai. The views of the ocean are spectacular. There is the highway very close to this condo but the noise is minimal.The bed was very comfortable and opening the balcony door allows for a nice breeze through the condo.Walkable to the town of Kaapa and the Coconut Grove shopping center. The condo was like home away from home with a beach view. I usually stay at hotels and was pleasantly surprised to see the goodies provided including laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner, beach chairs & umbrella, extra beach bags, boogie boards, and more. We spent our first week with family in a home in Poipu, then extended our stay to this condo. This condo was lovely, clean, had everything we needed for our stay and was more equipped with extras then the home we stayed in. The air conditioning in the bedroom was a nice extra to have as our Poipu home had none. The view was beautiful. The beach had a lot of driftwood but seemed to be a good spot for fishing/surfing. You can swim at this beach, well most beaches if you are a good swimmer. We took advantage of that! Some things we did include Napali boat tour and Kalalau hike to Hanakapi'ai beach. We rented kayaks on our own to get to secret falls (inludes a hike). Explored the north shore. Hiked to Queen's bath and swam in the lava pools (was a low tide/calm day in summer so definitely wouldn't do this in the winter). Brennecke's beach was our favorite as you can swim with the sea turtles. Puka dog very good. Salt pond is very nice, monk seals and not very crowded. Haena beach/tunnels is gorgeous. We did Kalamaku Luau, was a wonderful show-food ok. Almost forgot, we did the Mahaulepu Cave and hike- if you hike past Gillins/Mahaulepu beach, you come to another called secret beach. We spent a total of 2 weeks in Kauai, but still weren't able to do everything we wanted. The most beautiful island I've ever experienced and can't wait to come back. We would definitely stay at this condo again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

Enjoy the property and location. Appreciated you thought of all the necessities. Would recommend checking the laundry machine. Did a load and sounded awful during spin cycles. Our Honeymoon

I went to Kauai with my partner to elope and have our honeymoon. This was an excellent place to stay for us. They had everything from hairdryer to iron and ironing board for our preparations. The unit was spotless and enough linen and supplies for the entire 8 day stay. The washer/dryer was a huge bonus. The condo complex is also very well kept, and has a beautiful view. The condo and the view at the condo were amazing. The only issue that we had was with checking in. When we have stayed at other condos, there was a manager or staff for check in. When we arrived, there was no one in the office and no one answered the phone that we used in the office area. We finally found another guest that sent us to the assistant managers residence to get a door code for our room. It took over a hour to get our code. I would rate the service at 0, because there was none.

This property is self check in. You are sent the arrival instructions 7 days prior which you should have with you prior to arriving on site. The site manager is there to serve the association and not those that did not prepare prior to arrival. Mother/Daughter trip to paradise

We have been to Maui, which we love, and Oahu, but this was our first time to Kauai and it was absolutely wonderful. The condo was great. Just as shown in the listing. There is a main street by the condo but it didn't bother us at all. You barely hear it. The condo is also located to where you can go in either direction to visit all the different places on the island. Driving around this island was nothing short of, amazing and beautiful. We loved the private beach of the condo. If you walk off to the side of the condos, there is a private little beach you can lay out at. It was clean. It had everything you needed, and the complex was very quiet. This unit has an AC in the bedroom only but we didn't need it in the living room. Once you opened up the glass doors and the breeze came through. I knew use the ceiling fan. It was very very comfortable. We came in March. The condo also had plenty of towels and other amenities out on the little lanai that you could use for the beach.

This rental has a great location and amazing view of the bay! The property was clean and quiet. Everything you need for your stay is provided. I was surprised at how much was thought of in stocking this property. Much better than other rentals we have used. Restaurants and shopping are close and easy to get to. Gorgeous view

The view is picture perfect. We were not bothered by highway noise as some have been. The condo is functional, but worn and in need of a basic refresh and some minor repairs. A simple change like a new comforter/bedspread would go a long way. It was very convenient to have some beach supplies such as beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler available. Had a problem with wi-if, which was addressed quickly after being reported. Due to a weather emergency at home, we had to add an extra day and the team really helped us out in making this happen (did cause a mixup with the entry code, but that was taken care of quickly). Overall, a good value and a great location.

The location was central to all the places we wanted to go in Kauai, the couch and bed were comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed, and so many extras - from a beach bag to mosquitoes repellent. We really enjoyed the property, lots of extras that we used for excursions. Great view from the balcony for having coffee and breakfast every morning watching fisherman trying their luck as wellnas the chickens and roosters. One morning we witnessed a fisherman catch a small shark. Had nice sunsets also at the end of the day. Property was central to the north shore and south shore so where ever we decided to go it was easily done with short drives. My wife's 50th birthday week was a great success.

We really enjoyed the condo as a base to see the Island, we did a great self guided car tour of Waimea Canyon. We also visited Poipu beach and appreciated the beach at the condo as it's not a crowded madhouse like Poipu. We enjoyed the little bakery across the street and the Olympic restaurant in town. The kitchen was well appointed and the bed and pillows comfy. The beach chairs and umbrella were great!

We loved staying in unit 104! The view from the lanai is beautiful; we really enjoyed sitting outside watching the waves (and the chickens!). The A/C in the bedroom was a plus, and the washer and dryer in the unit was really handy! Kitchen was stocked with basic cookware, and it was nice to have a dishwasher as well. Location is great too, right in the middle of things, but we never felt it was loud. Thank you for a wonderful introduction to Kauai!

Beautiful and comfortable! Quite too with just the peaceful waves coming onshore. Thank you for the shampoo, conditioner and body wash to use since those are hard to pack with the airlines/ flights. Such a wonderful spot to call home during our vacation. We hope to return some day! I loved that a sea turtle and a seal swam near me at Poi'pu Beach. My spouse did sky diving too!

Aside from the traffic (which was not advertised, the Condo was in pristine condition. Better than I expected. Cleaner than brand new. If you switched the furniture we wouldn't see the traffic thru the mirror or while sitting on the couch. Took me several days to get use to it.

The perfect condo for a Hawaiian vacation!

Absolutely the most stunning condo we've ever stayed at in Hawaii! This unit had everything we needed from cookware, fans, extra blankets, filtered water, coffee machines, you name it! We'll be sure to stay in this unit each and every time we visit Kauai. The view is spectacular and it sits so close to the ocean that you can hear the waves crashing while cooking in the kitchen. Condo was the perfect floor plan and size, they had everything we could ever need at our fingertips! We couldn't believe the view, friends actually asked if I had filters on my pictures, which I did not it was just that beautiful! Condo was clean and property management company was so easy to work with! We even saw a pod of dolphins in front, on our last day! Downside for us was just how quiet it was, we were scared to make a peep, but this would definitely be a perk for most!

A very nicely maintained property and unit with a great view. The unit amenities were recently updated and had everything we needed including chairs, cooler and a matt for daily adventures to the beach. The location was convenient with beautiful beaches at your doorstep, the bike path just off the drive way, ono restaurants across the way and shops down the street.

Beach Vibe

WBV is situated close to numerous wonderful beaches and essential services with Kapa'a — and its “beach vibe” — just up the road (5 to 10-minute drive) . The condo property is centrally located on the east coast of the island, which allows for relatively easy access (max. <1 hour by car) to beautiful sights and places along the East, North (wetter) and South (drier) coasts, as well as inland from there (West). They call it the Garden Island for a reason!!! The vegetation is beautiful and the beaches are numerous and varied, with many safe swimming and some snorkeling opportunities On the whole, people (local and tourists) were very courteous and generally very laid back 🤙. There were some traffic “pinch points” during the daytime — due in part to ongoing road-improvement construction and in part to simple traffic volume issues on the Kuhio Hwy. Very Nice!

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very kind and helpful. It was nice listening to the waves at night. Bed was comfortable. Linens were nice. The only complain was the construction in the area which made it cumbersome going places during peak hours.

Incredible Oceanfront

The condo has an incredible oceanfront view from the living room and balcony, which was just what we were looking for. The host has some very thoughtful touches, such as beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, telescope and binoculars which were much appreciated. The furniture was really cute and gave a beachy vibe. The kitchen was well appointed and has everything you need. We loved being able to walk to the beach from our door, and the Passions bakery is right across the street as well. The only negative was the air conditioner in the bedroom. It is pretty loud when it kicks on, so we ended up not using it. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and the location.

The property was as described. The amazing thing about the property was, although it was a bit dated, the care and upkeep was evident. The fit and finish on the entire apartment was excellent. The apartment was not air conditioned, except for the most important bedroom. It was nicely cooled and made for great sleeping. Not to worry about the rest of the apartment, the cross breeze from the patio door through the front door louvers was more than enough cooling. It's Hawaii and it was very pleasant. The apartment looked out over the Wailua Beach. The view, framed with tall coconut palms was a scenic photo every morning for sunrise and every late afternoon. Gorgeous! As an added bonus, there was a telescope and binoculars to check out whatever was going on a the beach or the Hikinaakala Heiau across the bay. The property was beautifully cared for by Mark the manager. The pool was relaxing and quiet. An occasional chicken showed up on the back lawn, but Mark chased them off with his squirt gun! The apartment was 5 minutes away from the Fern Grotto boat tour, about 5 minutes away from the local Safeway and 3 minutes away from the touristy Coconut Marketplace with its very large ABC store with good liquor prices. There were quite a few good restaurants nearby. We liked the Lava Lava Beach Club for dinner, and No. 1 Chinese and BBQ for ono plate lunches. We would definitely stay here again. Highly Recommended.

It was one of our best. 10 of us. Entire family. All stayed at Wailua in different units. So much fun. Love Mark. He is so helpful and just keeps the grounds looking like a picture book. Cannot wait to return for some more Hawaiian love. Mahalo John and vicki gemmill

Perfect Location!

Perfect location to explore the whole island. The ocean view is outstanding and we had breakfast on the lanai every morning and even for a few take out dinners. Walk to beach and shopping. Nice pool area. It's a nice and small condo complex, so it's quiet (we loved that). Would stay there again. Date of arrival - August 18, 2022

Location was Great!

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great, mid-island with lots of restaurants near by. The condo was clean and comfortable. I was surprised that the AC was in the bedroom and not central AC but we turned down the temperature, used the fans in the living room and closed the shades while we were out and entire condo stayed cool enough. We loved our 4 days here! The view is incredible and a joy to wake up to each day. There was a lot of attention to detail... extra towels, beach equipment, kitchen supplies, and even a frozen reusable freeze pack for the cooler (which is also provided). Cindy responded to our questions very quickly and we felt very welcome. Thanks!

Condo is in a great location. Coffee on the lanai in the morning overlooking the beach was awesome. It's an older property but well maintained. Pool was sparkling clean. Inside of condo shows its age but we just slept there, had breakfast and explored the island all day. Owners provide beach chairs and towels, boogie boards, cooler, even fishing poles. Binoculars came in handy on our hikes. We were happy to have the washer/dryer too. Well equipped condo! Date of arrival - May 22, 2022

Absolutely enjoyed this unit. While some aspects of the unit are showing age (bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets) the unit was clean and well maintained. Excellent and comfortable furniture and bed. The view from lanai was unbeatable. No issues with road noise being close to main roadway. The condo complex very well maintained with great pool area and bbqs. We found the location well located for trips the north and south parts of island. Close to east side services and walking paths.

Beautiful

My husband and I enjoyed a beautiful 8 day stay at this condo. Rarely have I been to a place that was as well equipped. We like to eat in, and every time I wondered whether the condo had a particular item I'd need, I had only to look in the well organized kitchen, and there it was. The view from the lanai was beautiful, and we enjoyed many meals out there. Another advantage is that the location is in between the areas of Poipu and Hanalei, and we took numerous trips to both places. Safeway is a few miles away, and there is a nice mall within walking distance that has restaurants as well as a farmers' market. Finally, there is a great bakery across the street where we bought delicious sour dough bread. It was a great place to start our vacation, and I would highly recommend it. Beautiful view and great, central location! Cindy was very response and very accommodating! The kitchen was fully equipped and they provided all the beach equipment you could need (chairs, towels, ice chest, umbrella, body board). A ground unit which is great for taking luggage in and easily accessible after a long day. However keep in mind that it can be a bit noisy with the traffic nearby.

This is our second visit to this property. We love all the amenities and flexibility of this condo (full kitchen, living space, bathroom, and in-unit laundry). We have vacationed numerous times to all the Hawaiian islands over the last 25 years and we have learned that hotels can't compete with condo living on the islands. This properties' lanai ocean view, trade wind cooling and lullaby of crashing waves at any hour when you open the sliding glass doors, is a relaxing paradise. The location of this property is central to every adventure on the island whether you go as far North as the road takes you through Hanalei or you venture South to Poipu and beyond. We love the cleanliness of this affordable property and the two communal gas grills at the pool are a great way to enjoy locally caught fish. BTW, we had the best Mexican restaurant experience at Monaco's right near Wailua Bay Condos in Kapaa. We will be back!! Date of arrival - November 5, 2021

Convenient Area

This condo is in a convenient area. Close to the air port and shopping centers. The condo came equipped with everything you could need. Neighbors are a bit loud and you can hear everything above you. We wish there was AC throughout, but there was only AC in the bedroom and the bed was a bit Uncomfortable for me. All in all, nice place to stay for the time we were there! View is Amazing

This condo has absolutely everything you could need and is so well appointed. The neighborhood is quiet and there is a lot of restaurants and groceries within walking distance. I loved getting up and walking to the market/deli for breakfast and coffee, walking home and eating on the lanai. The view is amazing. The management is also responsive and well organized. The view from this condo is breathtaking every time you look outside! Totally worth the stay just to see that. My boyfriend and I loved our stay in this conveniently located 1 bedroom condo in Kapaa. The check-in/out process was convenient however it was a little unclear about the paperwork needed for a parking permit so I filled out everything that was available and just plopped a parking permit on my dashboard. It seemed to work. Overall though, the property managers were really great to communicate with and were flexible with our stay dates. This place was clean and the fully equipped kitchen was used during our entire stay. The lanai is perfect for watching sunrises/sunsets while listening to the ocean. Date of arrival - May 6, 2021

Everything in the unit and the complex was as described; very clean, updated interior furnishings, well stocked, and the location was beautiful and convenient for touring the island. We even got to see whales breaching in the ocean from our Lani. Host were a pleasure to work with. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to future guests.

We totally enjoyed being right on the water, hearing the waves, watching the sunrise, whales and dolphins off shore, surfers up close. There are many fine restaurants to choose from in Kapaa and Lihue. It is an easy drive north or south to see the other sites. The unit was comfortable and clean. It felt like our home away from home.
