We loved this studio, the small buildings community and its central location! Aside from the bathroom being a bit tight, the place is perfect. You hear and see the ocean and the grounds are so lush and pretty! Perfect home base to go explore the north and south areas of the island without excessive driving!
Thanks for accommodating us an extra night when our flight was cancelled!

Clean and comfortable studio is a small ocean front community with gorgeous gardens. Very peaceful. Centrally located to explore all Kauai has to offer. Our neighbor Sandy was also so helpful and kind. I would stay here again. Fantastic lanai with ocean view for your morning coffee. Ample kitchen, well supplied. Just the bathroom is tight, so if that is important for you, keep looking. Otherwise, great place!

No TV until last day of stay. Wonderful location. Very clean. Adequate parking. Thought we were getting ocean front instead of ocean view. However, we did enjoy our stay and would return. Manager's Response:
We replaced the TV and worked with Hawaiian Tel to get this resolved for in regards to the remote. Your TV was working if you used the two remotes provided until we got Hawaiiantel there as explained to you. It is a wonderful location and I am not sure why you were mislead on it being a Oceanview unit not ocean front. Our pictures are exactly as presented. We sure hope you come again. Perfect place to get away and enjoy the peace Kauai! Quite space, with all amenities listed! Kitchen stocked with everything you need to stay in! Perfect view of the ocean, and listening to the waives will put every worry aside! Clear directions and communication with the host! It was our first trip to Kauai and our condo ended up being in the perfect spot! It's half way to everything on the island. The condo had absolutely everything we needed in it. Bed and pillows super comfy. If I had to find any negative it was the sand chairs need to be replaced, very minimal.

The sound of the ocean was so peaceful. The property has lots of beautiful landscaping and song birds. The unit was very clean and comfortable. Word of caution: you will hear the neighbors and the water pressure in the shower is very low. All that aside we would definitely stay here again!

Charming and Well-Equipped Condo

My husband and I spent Thanksgiving week based out of our Kapaa Sands condo. We loved having all the windows open and hearing the ocean - especially at night. One of the neighborhood roosters sleeps in the tree right outside the sliding glass door so be prepared for an early wake up call! The unit was well stocked and had pretty much everything we needed for our entire stay. Access to coin-op laundry was great in the middle of the week and trash/recycling was convenient. The bed was comfortable and the breeze from the fan was all we needed to stay cool at night. We didn’t use the pool or access the beach from here as much as we thought - we were too busy hiking and exploring! This is a great location if you are looking to access the whole island.

It's the "little things" that make such a difference. We appreciated the wider dresser drawers, the small food cooler, beach chairs and towels as well as the wax paper and foil. We were surprised that this unit did not have a toilet brush. The knives and knife sharpener were dull, so we used the knife sharpener we had brought with us to sharpen the knives. The shower temperature was hard to set to avoid burning oneself; perhaps instructions could be helpful? The permanent press dryer setting was just as hot as regular dry. We love Kaua'i, its residents and beaches (especially Hanalei and Anini), Lawai International Center, and Na Aina Kai Botanical Gardens. We certainly look forward to our next visit. The shower temperature issue is resolved and thank you for letting us know. The dryers in the common area laundry was reported and also addressed. We enjoyed our stay and Kauai's beautiful greenery.
The location was perfect and walking distance to almost everything.
The studio was clean with a comfortable bed. Kitchen had everything you might need. The roosters were quite annoying since they loved to crow all night!
Then sink faucet and water pressure need some repair as well as the shower pressure.
All in all, we really enjoyed our stay. We loved our tour by Kauai Soul Travel. Very relaxing and quite informative.

This is our second time staying at Kapaa Sands. This was a different unit we stayed in yet absolutely adore this property. We love the small beach cove area!! My fiance surprised me with an engagement proposal on that little cove!!! We have found a special place here. It is well kept, both the grounds as well as the units. We love the remodeled units, it keeps the "local" charm and feel!!

Really enjoyed my stay. Pics only tell part of the story. Some nice details give this place style such as the spare bath having a sliding window to the front room. And it really was fully stocked - beach chairs, cooler, camping light (fully charged!), paddle boards - every time I thought I needed something, there it was.

Loved the location and the beautiful sunrises over the beach, enjoyed the newly renovated unit, appreciated the beach chairs, the hiking poles and the email notification about the storm that passed over the island! This was our third time at Kapaa Sands and we find the private beach is a great spot to relax, especially after walking, running or biking along the beautiful coastal trail.

We loved the quiet neighborhood, and the Garden views from all the windows, there was plenty of space and the kitchen was great to cook in. Very clean! We loved the beach chairs and used them and the ice chest. The walk to the beach was perfect! We really thought the Property Manager was like meeting an old friend and enjoyed talking with him! Please keep this place a secret so it will be available for our next trip there.
