This was a comfortable and well located place for my daughter and me. The bed was comfortable if you like soft beds. The tiny kitchen was just enough for our needs (the silverware drawer is under the sink cupboard fyi) comfortably sized bathroom.It was nice to have pool as well as ocean beach options a few steps away.Also, Iimua coffee shop just outside our place, and Thai food in the nearby mall had excellent Celiac friendly food options. Walkable to restaurants, shops, market. We took short drives to other beaches, towns and attractions- easy driving and beautiful scenery. For being a center unit, it was remarkably quiet. I really appreciated the balcony.Only 12 minutes from airport but do plan for possible delays due to road construction.

Working with the team was great, very kind and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. It was perfect for kids. View was amazing. Best location. The pool is perfect and it is so close to the beach for watching sunsets. Communication was easy with the property manager and they were very accommodating and answered quickly. First night my daughter didn't have a blanket for the pull out bed and they got us one quickly the next morning. (We got in super late otherwise I think they would've gotten us one that same day) Things to note and be aware of: - even though it's in a hotel type setting, there is not any services throughout the stay (towel refresh, cleaning, etc) getting new towels was available upon request but it is an exchange so you have to have all of your towels ready for pickup. - there is a bit of an older furniture smell when you first walk in. It went away as the week went on but initially it was a bit strong. - the shower isn't super hot water but it wasn't terrible Manager's Response:

Location, location, location!! 1) Location - Within the complex, this unit was perfectly located. The view from the lanai is wonderful; overlooking the well-kept grounds, past the Tiki Bar and pool, through the palm trees, all the way to the ocean. What a wonderful way to greet the rising sun! 2) Location - Close to shops, restaurants, and Old Town Kapaa. Just a few steps to Imua Coffee where one can get delicious morning coffee. Restaurants abound. We ate at Hukilau Lanai the first night. Didn't have a reservation, but they let us eat at the bar which worked out just fine. Upscale and delicious. We ate at Lava Lava Beach Club the next two nights. Food was great and we loved the experience of eating with our feet in the sand. 3) Location - In the middle of the island. Easy to make daytrips to both ends of the island. We must say that this property grew on us. Visit the Tiki Bar at Happy Hour for lively conversation with neighbors. Shout out to the great bartender, Jeff McCoy!

The place was nice, felt like a roomier hotel room. We had just a couple issues. The host resolved them, but not super timely. The pool area is nice and easy to walk to. The beach that is accessible from the property is very steep with deep, loose sand, and the water was very rough, so don’t count on being able to go for swimming or families. Managers Response:
We are glad you enjoyed your vacation. We always strive to take care of our guest concerns timely and sorry if you felt we did not accomplish that with you. We called Spectrum when we heard you had issues and they were able to get that resolved. The other request for beach chairs we had to buy them as we did not have them in stock and the ones you had were in good condition just missing the straps that was a concern for you which we understand. The beach and conditions are depends on surf conditions with a short walk to a protective area to swim. We hope you come again and soak up more of the Kauai beauty. The Islander On The Beach 241 was a nice place to stay. The view from the balcony was better than the pictures. The room was clean and attractive. The Islander facility is well kept up and the landscaping is simply amazing. It has a great location on the beach and next to the Coconut mall. Kauai has always been our favorite island and it did not disappoint.

The property is great. Grounds are clean, poolside is just right. We liked the boardwalk for some exercise and the beach is nice ambiance for relaxing (but there's better beaches on Kauai). The room is a studio, so know that it's not huge. I wouldn't want to try to cram 4 people in this and the kitchenette is tiny to the point of dainty. But for the price you get good value. Surprisingly well equipped for the size and great bathroom. If you want a sunrise room (we did) this one is perfect.

This is over our ninth time staying at Islander on the Beach. First time in this unit. Besides a very difficult to open and close slider out to the lanai (roller was frozen) and inadequate lighting over the sink (fixture was missing) all went well. Had an exceptional view of the sunrise every morning

Overall, exactly as advertised and a nice stay. Literally a 1 min walk to the beach and cozy apt/condo to be in. Only downside (which isn't the hosts fault) is that the chickens will likely wake you up around 530-6 AM.

Enjoyed our stay in unit #241. Everything was neat and clean. Great location on the property with exceptional lanai view. Close to restaurants and shopping, all within walking distance. The major drawback was the sliding door needs attention. It's very hard to open and close (older guests will have a problem with this as we did !) That's the reason for the 4 star rating otherwise it would be a 5. Would rent this unit again for sure. Aloha

The property is well kept, clean with plenty of amenities. The room has a view of the pool and the ocean. The king bed is comfortable and the AC is cold. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon. It is a centrally located room close to shops, bicycle rental, restaurants, and more. The bicycle path is a fun inexpensive way to explore the Kapa'a coast. The room has a small frig, utensils, bowls, plates, cups, etc. There is a microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker in the unit too. We grilled at the bbq a couple nights. It's a fantastic place to stay. There are plenty of roosters around making noise all hours of the day and night; we enjoyed watching them run around the grounds. The plumeria trees, hibiscus, ginger and more flourish on the property. It's a beautiful place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this resort. We did find that the room could have used a little sprucing up. Some dusty areas could be found. Overall, we had everything we needed there. Great location with shopping within walking distance. Absolutely beautiful grounds to wander around!!!

We had a great stay! This rental unit is in a great central location on the island. It was only about 15 minutes from the airport and we were able to easily take a day trip to Princeville and Poipu. The unit was clean and it has a mini-split AC unit that kept the unit cool. The only issue we had is that the unit number wasn't listed anywhere on Airbnb. So when we went to get our parking pass, and check-in, we couldn't find the unit number. I did eventually find it in an email from the host, but it took me about 5 minutes of searching to find it. The host said they would update their check-in instructions to include the unit number for future guests. Besides that everything was great!

Was close to the airport and central to the east, north and south part of the island. The resort is surrounded by markets, restaurants, great coffee shops. Once inside the property, it's beautiful and peaceful, with views of the ocean from the balcony. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious. It was stocked with all you need for inside, or for the beach. Would definitely stay there again.

Keypad lock is an adventure. No key you could leave in room and lock the door. Best view from balcony because facing east. Property well managed, very quiet since the block is central on property and pool bar closes at 9:00 pm. Walk/bike pass vis a vis. Short distance into all directions for exploring the island. Market cross the street and coffee shop on property avoids travel by car for urgent things. Brewery around the corner with excellent food.

Nice view from the unit of the ocean, pool and hot tub. The grounds were well kept and the front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. Very convenient with several restaurants adjacent to the property as well as a grocery store with many prepared foods you can take back to the unit to enjoy. We liked the smaller size of the property so it never felt too busy.

Great location and beautiful property. Beach nice to sit at and look even if you cant swim there. Gounds well maintained and fantastic to look at. Unit was nice with enjoyable view, except a bit of mold in the shower. Safe was locked upon entry so couldn't be used. Emailed property but didnt get a response. Wasnt an issue for me. Could use another set of towels since no maid service. Location near Coconut Market was very convenient. and Safeway just up the road was nice. Overall it was great and would stay there again

We loved this air b&b - the location in the complex was perfect with views of the pool area and ocean. Pool was really nice and they had a pool side bar too. Loved that we good just walk to all the restaurants and stores in the Coconut Market Place. It was also a good mid way point between the south and north shores. AC worked good. Everything in the bath and kitchen was fine. Bed was comfortable. Furniture was a bit outdated but was functionally ok. Would definitely stay again if I ever get the chance to go back.

Cindy and her team at Premier Kauai Ohana were incredible! We were greeted with such a welcoming experience as soon as we entered the property! The local and AC were on and ready for us after our flight from home! The moment we entered the property, we felt Hawaii. We were greeted with a detailed guide of amenities, rules, and features of property as well as the island. The whole layout and decoration were so warm and welcoming! We even had complimentary treats for our anniversary! Overall, the property is at a very close proximity and in the center of activities. It is even steps away from a beach! Our lanai has a partial ocean view and pool view. It's even family friendly with its pool, hot tub, and bbq grill availability within the property. The property is family and couple friendly! Oh have I mentioned how RESPONSIVE they are to inquiries? I have probably asked random questions and responses come within an hour or less. I highly recommend this property to friends and family!

The place is located at a good place, where you are flexible to drive to whatever side of the island you want. There is a cool beach club right next to it. It was really clean and the host left some little snacks, which was cute. Thank you for letting me stay. Loved the island!
