While Kauai certainly has its share of upscale dining establishments, sometimes the best meals are found at small, unassuming, locally owned eateries. Enjoyed by residents and visitors alike for its local style comfort food, Porky’s Kauai is one such place. Porky’s began as a food truck but its popularity quickly found it opening a permanent establishment. Perfect for dining in with sand still on your toes after an island adventure or for picking up to be enjoyed on a beach with a view, Porky’s rises to the occasion with generous portions and creative twists on favorite comfort dishes.
Porky’s Kauai Menu
As the name suggests, you’ll find that Hawaiian style pulled pork is the star of the menu at Porky’s. This delicious, tender meat offers a subtle smoky flavor, reminiscent of the traditional Hawaiian style of cooking pulled pork in an underground oven. You’ll find staples such as hot dogs, sausage, and grilled cheese, all topped with Porky’s delicious Hawaiian style pulled pork. This is a restaurant even the kids will approve of! For an added tropical flair, consider ordering the pineapple sausage, which includes a pineapple-stuffed sausage topped with pulled pork and topped with additional freshly cut pineapple and a sweet & spicy sauce. Porky’s also offers the healthier rice bowl, topped with pulled pork, and served with a side of grilled onions and freshly cut pineapple. Porky’s offers a simple, budget friendly menu, with all meals including a drink and priced at $11.

When it comes to the resort areas of Kauai’s North and South Shores, Porky’s may seem a bit out of the way. However, it makes for a great stop off point on the way to or from some of the renowned natural attractions situated on Kauai’s West Coast. You’ll also pass through Waimea on your way to Polihale State Park, home to what is widely regarded as Kauai’s most beautiful and remote white sand beach.
