Aloha, overall, we were very satisfied with our accommodations. There was just a couple of things with the accommodations that need some attention. The sliding glass doors were very difficult to open and close. They need to be serviced as you’re facing out the window on the right was very difficult to close. The beach chairs storage pockets zippers are non-operational and one of them chairs has a bent leg still usable, but it’d be nice if the zipper bags could actually be utilized. It would be nice if they could provide a couple of boogie boards for use on the beach. We did a lot of hiking on the island. We really enjoyed the Kalalau trail 4 mile hike as well as the cliff hike at Waimea Canyon. We also did the Napoli coast cruise out of Port Allen. If we were to do the Napoli Coast cruise again I would do it out of the North Shore instead of Port Allen because of the snorkeling location at tunnels Beach. The stop out of Port Allen for snorkeling. We saw maybe ten fish at the most very disappointing and I know that could’ve just been the conditions that day. Overall, we truly enjoyed our visit to the beautiful island of Kauai!!

Perfect for Our Honeymoon

This place was perfect for our honeymoon! The moment we walked in we heard the ocean and it was magical. The view from our balcony was perfection. We got to watch surfers every day and we even spotted some dolphins having fun one day! An easy walk to the beach. Nice view from lanai. Waves crashing made traffic noises insignificant. Nice central location on Kauai. Walking distance to several eateries (and drinkeries). Showing her age a little, but very clean. You will pick up traffic noises in the bedrooms, but most nights, the island settles down by 10 or 11 pm. Date of arrival - July 6, 2025

This condo was in an absolutely beautiful location with stunning views! We miss it already! Everyone we came into contact with were nice and the condos pool was also amazing! We wished there was an easier way to get down to the beach but it was a short walk which was fine for us. The condo is centrally located on the island, close to the airport which was great after a long flight! We will definitely keep this place in mind for next year's trip and recommend to anyone going there

I came in late Saturday night and left very early Tuesday morning. The host accommodated me several times getting back to me with questions promptly. I did not swim at the beach shown in the picture. Excellent Location

This is the 2nd time we have rented through Premiere Kauai. The unit 2 years ago was OUTSTANDING. It was a bit more money, but worth it for family of 4. This time it was just my sister and I. Wailua Bay View suburb location to all Kauai attractions. AC in bedroom was wonderful. The complex quiet, peaceful and immaculate. While the unit was very clean and welcoming, it is dated with some windows not opening, kitchen shelves not balanced, counter nicks, old carpet and old washer/dryer. Bedroom closet doors, and balcony door hard to open and close. We really appreciated all the fans they supplied, beach towels, cooler and chairs! The bathroom had a fresh coat of paint and was bright and cheery. Kitchen was stocked with all utensils needed to cook small meals. Bed was comfortable, great welcome book with suggestions on island restaurants and activities. A small problem arose with dryer during stay and it was immediately fixed. Would book Premier again in future! They truly care about your comfort and they want you to have a wonderful stay on Kauai! THANK YOU!

Gave 5 stars for the following reasons-- --CLEAN! --Well-stocked with not only the necessities, but also beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, ice chest --the view! (the balcony overlooks the ocean) --AC in bedroom works very well! --we had an issue with something in the condo, called the property manager, and she was there within one hour to fix it We loved our stay in this condo, we have no complaints, and we would definitely stay here again! Perfect location and stunning view!

The condo itself is pretty outdated and a few things probably need to be repaired. The biggest reason I booked this condo is because of the view! It's absolutely stunning, there is always a breeze on the balcony and I promise you won't be sitting inside a lot. We watched sea turtles float in the waves close to shore during the afternoons around 2pm. Waves are pretty rough and shore is very rocky so they don't actually come up on shore here. There is only air conditioning in the bedroom which is pretty darn good during the night. I actually got cold a couple times. However the rest of the condo doesnt have air conditioning. It can get a little warm in there but with all the fans that were provided we stayed cool enough. We didn't cook much but there is plenty of cookware, utensils, etc. Washer and dryer was perfect especially after getting dirty on some trails. There is NO ELEVATOR and we were on the third floor. Keep that in mind if you have any issues climbing stairs or for carrying groceries and luggage. The location is perfectly in the middle of the east side of the island so it makes it a shorter drive to go north or south on the island. Would definitely stay here again. Love the View

Loved this unit and will be coming back. The view was amazing. We got to see whales from our balcony. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. We cooked every night we were there for 7 nights and had all the hardware we needed. Management was very responsive and nice. Walking distance to a lots of great places.

This was a nice place to stay with great views of the ocean! It was spotlessly clean even though it is an older condo. There is a fabulous bakery across the street with amazing malasadas. My only complaint, if I had one, is the traffic noise in the morning since it is right off the main road. We ran the fan all night for white noise. The view was beyond amazing, you hear the ocean all day/night! The unit was spacious, host attentive.. However, just like other reviews stated the unit can get very warm & stuffy and the bed is not comfortable at all. I think the view made it worth it.

Amazing view from the balcony where we enjoyed our meals, watching the sunrise and taking in the scenery. The unit was centrally located, comfortable and met our needs. Management was responsive. Shopping and restaurants at Coconut Marketplace, beachfront food and drinks at Lava Lava and great baked goods at Passion Bakery all within easy walking distance. Look forward to returning someday! Property Was Fine

This property was fine. Definitely much older than the pictures suggest. But we were fine with that. Honestly the only deal breaker for us was we assumed since it was right on the water we would have a good ocean breeze and for some reason, with the way it’s situated, you can feel any breeze at all!! Like even on the balcony the air is stagnant. The temperature inside was stifling and made sitting in the living room miserable even with fans. The bedroom has an ac unit for sleeping which saved us. I honestly wouldn’t have made it without that. This property was fine but I wouldn’t stay there again. I understand not all condos have AC on the island and that’s fine, but this property is just too hot to be comfortable. Otherwise……it was okay.

We loved the place I have been to Kauai since 1999. I love unit 215 I guess it is hard to reserve it. I wish they would put an elevator especially on the 3rd level. We had to ask someone to help us with our luggage. We did alot of the tourist tours since my girl friend has never been there.

Fabulous Vacation

We stayed at Wailua Bay Condos for 10 days to celebrate our 25th anniversary. It was a fabulous vacation with more things to do than there were days to do them in. The condo is on the 3rd floor, and from your private balcony you have an amazing view of the ocean that never gets old. The check in and out process is super easy as the unit has a keyless entry. The washer/dryer unit in the condo made keeping our laundry done super convenient. There are plenty of extra towels, including beach towels to use during your stay. The two beach chairs and umbrella were so handy as we spent every afternoon on the beach. All in all, even though we didn't spend much time inside, the condo met all of our needs and was a nice place to stay.

Overall a nice place. Calm and a private balcony view. Pool was also calm during our stay. AC was a small floor unit, so a little louder than wall units ones. Small commercial area at 2-3 minutes walk, but overall quiet area. The beach near our wailua bat view was a little windy and with lots of waves, so it was beautiful but not the best one to enjoy beach sport/activities/swimming and snorkeling.

The view of the Bay from the balcony was superb, and the sound of the ocean was soothing. We were only there for 5 nights, and had scheduled activities and tours every day, so we didn't have time to use the pool or the beach area, but there were things in the condo for us to use had we had time. It's got a nice beachy vibe, which suits the area. Our host was very helpful when a glitch happened with the TV and internet...but that was the only issue we had here. It was a great stay for us.

This is the best Place on Hawaii we have ever stayed! There is no place in this unit that you can't hear the ocean, and from the living room and kitchen the view is magnificent! Air conditioning in the bedroom made the hot Hawaiian nights very good for sleeping, and warm trade winds were such a pleasure out on the lanai. Great Sunrises!

This property has a great location for trips either to the north or south of the island. The view from the lanai is great. We ate there most every breakfast and dinner listening to the waves and watching the surfers. Great sunrises too! The condo is well appointed, even a scale to check your suitcase weight. The AC in the bedroom was a nice treat but we only needed to use it a couple of times , the ceiling fan cooled very nicely. Overall a great property and we would stay there again. Bonnie & John

Only suggestions for improvement would be pretty minor. The view was fantastic, the complex felt very safe, and the space was well cleaned. But air conditioning for the living room/ kitchen would help the stay be immensely more comfortable, we would not have survived without the fans constantly going and the air conditioning in the bedroom. Maybe some complimentary kitchen supplies such as sugar for tea/coffee, main condiments in fridge etc Couldn't find a baking tray when we went to reheat some pizza. Centrally Located

Staying at this condo was really a great experience for me and my wife. The view from the balcony was amazing and our host had lots of useful things we used like an ice chest and beach chairs. It is also pretty centrally located to get around the island as we needed to. It is definitely on the older side and showing its age but these are very minor and didn't affect our enjoyment at Kauai. Our host was also very quick to fix the only small issue we had with a window in our bedroom.

This was a great place. Location was ideal, value was good...a perfect spot for a couples getaway. Cindy was very responsive when anything popped up and the on-site staff was great too. Quick access to the beach, a really nice pool, and a short walk to great food. Thanks again!

My wife and I loved staying here for our anniversary. The view is gorgeous, and the location is a great middle ground if you plan on visiting the north and south parts of the island. Highly recommend taking a short walk over to the Lava Lava Beach club from the room; it's a fun environment with games and live music.

Centrally located, shops and great restaurants near by. Beautiful view of the bay. Located near a busy road but the ocean is so loud it covers that up. Decently equipped kitchen and great amount of space for two people.

Perfect location

Waking up each day to the sunrise on Wailua Bay and watching the Whales in the distance is truly magical. Being literally right next to water and high enough to observe the surfers, kite surfing, canoe races and the local fishermen provides hours of entertainment. The location on the island is central to all the prime destinations like Hanilai, Poipo, and Waimia canyon. The condo has a well equipped kitchen and includes portable beach chairs, beach umbrella, snorkel gear, coolers, and beach towels.

The BEST place to stay! We had a wonderful experience in this appartement. Really our best place in Hawaii!! The ocean view is absolutely STUNNING! You can admire the sunrise from the comfort of your private balcony. Everything was clean and instructions were clear. The host was available to answer our questions in a prompty manner. Neighborhood is amazing, lots of restaurants and amenities, very clean and near the beach!! Would recommend 10000%

Location is exactly as described. Upper floor unit with gorgeous views of the ocean. Shops and restaurants just a few minute walk down the street and a host gracious enough to share this piece of heaven with guests. We walked in to the unit after 9pm with a light on and more than we expected. Clean, organized, and beautiful. Views in the days are great with a sunrise to start your day. Cindy was very pleasant and informative. One of the best VRBO locations we have seen.

Loved this place and highly recommend it. Woke up and watched the sunrise every morning. Saw whales, dolphins, and surfers right from the Lanai. Since dining options were unpredictable or long lines around lunch, we used the cooler to pick up food in the morning and take it out for the day (loved the poke at Pono Market and Ishihara Market). We found Tiki Tacos the best takeout nearby. Enjoy!

Authentic Hawaiian Experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property and its location was unmatched. The sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks filled the condo and made for an incredibly authentic Hawaiian experience. The walking distance location to shops, restaurants, and convenience/grocery were also a huge plus to this rental. On a return trip to Kaua'i we will certainly be entertaining a return to this property.

Lovely comfortable apartment with fabulous ocean views from the very private lanai. Kitchen is well stocked for making meals, and everything was very clean. Minor issues with garbage disposal unit were dealt with within the hour , we appreciated the prompt attention. Cindy was very helpful when covid restrictions may have impacted our stay . Location is great ,close to lots of restaurants and amenities in walking distance . Pool area is very well maintained . We have stayed at this complex several times and will return again as soon as we can !

We had a good stay and the host was very responsive. The place is centrally located, which made traveling to different parts of the island a breeze. The unit was equipped with utensils and cooking equipment if needed for a small meal. The view and ocean sounds from the room were everything. Would stay again.

The view was spectacular, the location was perfect, it was upkept, clean, and nice. The in house washer and dryer were essential. Well enjoyed vacation, restaurants and shopping within short walking distance. The view from the Lanai is spectacular, a little overcast during our stay but the sound of the crashing waves and the ocean almost at our fingertips was the perfect fix. The only thing I would suggest is a welcome package with a little coffee, tea and small assortment of spices.

“We enjoyed our stay at the condo. It had great views where we ate breakfast and dinner every day. A/C in the bedroom is a huge plus! The house during the day does get a little warm but nothing we couldn't handle. Kitchen is spacious and had all the gadgets we needed for our meals. We took advantage of the grill near the pool often. The condo is within walking distance to tons of restaurants & Coconut Marketplace. Cindy was wonderful and answered in a timely manner before and during our stay. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others!”

This condo was absolutely beautiful. Situated within an apartment complex in Kapa'a, our condo had a direct view of the ocean. We had a great time having dinners in the balcony surrounded by the sound of waves. The place was well equipped, tastefully decorated, and very clean. There were plenty of extra towels and sheets, washer and dryer within the condo, and a nice spacious kitchen area. The AC unit in the bedroom was great to cool down the bedroom before going to sleep. Accurate description, clear instructions, and great communication. The condo was close to many local restaurants and shops. Kapa'a is a nice central location if you're planning to visit both the north and south shores of Kauai. I would definitely stay at Premier Kauai Ohana again and would highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Kauai.”

It was a pleasure to work with Cindy. She was kind, helpful and easy to reach! Wailua Bay View is a great spot on the island of Kauai. It's central to everywhere you want to go and you cannot beat the view! You also cannot get any closer to the ocean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Unit 313, especially listening to the healing sounds of the ocean from inside the unit. It was clean, roomy and had everything we needed to be comfortable! Many places are walkable, including beaches, restaurants, Lydgate park and the Coconut Marketplace, which is an added bonus!
