This condo was one of our best stays with AirBnB! The condo has everything you could need while on vacation with your family with a fully stocked kitchen and very thoughtful closet with plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, and everything else you could want while on the beach.
The view of the condo overlooks the pool (as pictured) and the beach beyond that. The beach was a quiet little beach for the community right there.
Nearby, there are plenty of restaurants and the Safeway is only about a mile away. If you're looking to explore points in the north (Hanalei) as well as the south (Poipu), this is a great location, because you can get to either end of the island in a reasonable amount of time.
One thing to note though is that this condo is up two flights of stairs with no elevator, so you should be fairly active to go up and down the stairs. It's may not be ideal for older parents or grandparents that aren't used to going up and down the stairs a lot.

We were very pleased with our stay at Lanikai 131. It was exactly as (more than) advertised. Very well equipped with anything you would need for a beach stay. The property manager was also excellent. We had our stay extended due to hurricane Lala. They were able to extend our stay in the unit we rented and moved us to an open unit for our last night when we couldn't get a flight out for 4 days. The weather updates during the storm were also greatly appreciated, we felt taken care of. We were fortunate to not lose power during the storm so our experience wasn't what other islands experienced. It was a devastating storm for so many. I would definitely stay in this unit again. What a beautiful launch point to explore this beautiful island. Bedrooms were comfortable, bathrooms spacious, living area was very comfortable with plenty of seating. Good places to dine within walking distance. Passions bakery was excellent for Malasadas in the morning. Wailua Granola Co açaí bowls were also yummy. Na'Pali Brewing, Lotus Ramen, Naisla Kitchen & Cocktails, Lava Lava Beach Club, Pool area was also nice. Close to the beach so you could hear the waves while relaxing at the pool. One thing we weren't expecting, there is no elevator. Not a problem for our group and maybe it said so if it was important to your group you would look. We were 3rd floor which was wonderful for views. If stairs are an issue for you choose a lower unit. This unit deserves its 10 rating for sure!!

This condo has the most beautiful view and when we wandered down to the beach the views kept getting better. It took us some time to walk around the left corner and discover lava lava beach club for dinner right in the sand. that was fun! It was a quiet location. We relaxed beautifully in the evenings with the sound of the ocean in the cozy space. We will definitely try to return some day.

This unit was the perfect stay for our family in Kauai. This is the most well-stocked rental we've ever stayed in. They've truly thought of everything. It was spacious and clean, and location was amazing. We could walk to the bakery, restaurants, stores, and the beach. It also gave us good access to other parts of the island. Absolutely amazing stay! This was hands down the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in. The home was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. The hosts went above and beyond by providing extras like workout equipment, snorkel gear, and even a Christmas tree, which made our stay feel extra special.
The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to do while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and it truly felt like a home away from home.

Condo was beautiful. The main living had an amazing amount of seating options, comfortable too! The kitchen was extremely well stocked for all needs. Only downfall was a new refrigerator was placed the day before our arrival and ice make was not in use for our entire stay. Great dinning that seats 6. Bedrooms and both bathrooms were very comfortable, and nicely decorated. Great closet full of beach and activity equipment. Also, tons of exercise equipment. The lanai was amazing as well. Pool not over populated with people. Walking path along beach and hotels was amazing.. Highly recommend stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the condo. The location and view is spectacular, overlooking a quiet, palm-framed beach. The lanai is huge and private with lots of seating. The living areas are very comfortable with large couches and swivel chairs. The kitchen had everything that we needed. Big comfy beds, airy and quiet, and clean private bathrooms. Our stay at Lanikai 131 was beyond spectacular! The views are unstoppable, and the location couldn’t be better — you can snorkel right on the beach, or walk a few steps to watch the sunrise. It’s close to everything, yet still peaceful and relaxing. Inside, the condo is beautifully maintained and filled with thoughtful amenities that make it feel like home — or better. We made sure we added to them. There were a few things we wanted while there, just personal preference, so we left them in hopes that the next guest would use them too. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the décor is inviting, and you can tell the owners and property manager truly care about every detail of your experience. It’s rare to find a place that feels this cared for and welcoming. SUPER HIGHLIGHT - there is a JoJo's ice in walking distance and there was NEVER a line :) There was some construction on the lower unit during our stay, but the crew was so respectful and quiet that it never impacted us at all. If you’re looking for a place in Kauai that offers comfort, beauty, and true Aloha spirit, Lanikai 131 is the one. We highly recommend it! 🌴✨

Lanakai 131 is everything you want in your dream Kauai vacation. The top floor location in the first building provides the most spectacular unobstructed view of the beach and surrounding area. The condo itself is excellently appointed and has everything you need for an active family. We appreciated the BBQ by the pool to cook several nights and the pleasant surprise of beach amenities available in the closet (beach chairs, snorkels, etc.). Speaking of which a real bonus was the amazing cove and beach the Lanakai building accesses. Perfect blend of ocean wave fun and calm tide pool type waters for relaxing. Lastly, the location is perfect for day trips north or south|west and fir walking to the marketplace village and restaurants. Overall everything we hoped for in our vacation stay.

We loved our condo! We felt at home immediately & rebooked for next year on our second day there. Our third-floor unit was perfect for enjoying the sight & sound of the ocean. We also loved the refreshing breeze that constantly flowed thru the unit. The furnishings are lovely, fun artwork in all the rooms, plenty of space for clothing & personal effects, & well stocked kitchen. We spent a great deal of time at the heated pool & enjoyed visiting with guests that came and went during our 6-week stay. All in all, an excellent vacation spot & we look forward to returning in 2026!

LaniKai #131 is absolutely beautiful. A lovely condo that is very private (only about 18 units total) we felt right at home & although there were others around. A lot of the time we had the pool or community areas to ourselves. The coconut marketplace was walkable (maybe a block) & you could do shopping, pick up basics from the ABC store or grab dinner at the restaurants. The beach was beautiful and had nice safe areas for kids. Many times we walked along the shore & path to Lava Lava for happy hour or breakfast. The condo itself was absolutely perfect. The finishes were beautiful and made us feel at home. I like to unpack and there were truly many storage areas & hooks, in the bedrooms and bathrooms that were very thoughtful for guests. & the whole home A/C was much appreciated since we come from a cooler climate. There were also many outlets that made for easy charging of electronics. & we loved the seating in the main room for everyone to spread out. We definitely plan to return!!

Outstanding! We had an amazing time on Kauai and Lani Kai 131 was part of that experience. It was beautifully decorated and comfortable. When we arrived, it was clean and had everything we needed, from beach towels and sand chairs to a well appointed kitchen. It was great to have a full-sized washer and dryer. Perfect for our small family. Certainly not a resort and beach is small and location is a bit remote from major attractions but for us, there is a beauty and a charm in this location (we have been coming here since our kids were small) and the view and amenities within the condo are fantastic. Location with respect to the island makes everything (north and south shore) close enough to easily visit. Just wish we could afford to come more often!

This is an extraordinary vacation rental. The interior of the unit is beautiful. Much of the woodwork is done in a lovely, dark tropical hardwood, all built to a very high standard. The furniture is casual and comfortable. The living room is generously spacious with plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen is well equipped and well organized; the knives were sharp. The beds are very comfortable. The main bedroom and living room windows have sliding wooden shutters, so the bedroom can be dark at night. All of the fixtures and color choices are well selected and attractive, and everything is in excellent working order. The pictures and description of the unit and property on the website are accurate. The best part of the rental is the large lanai, which runs the width of the unit. The lanai contains plenty of comfortable furniture. The view from the lanai -- of the ocean, small beach, and pool -- is simply outstanding. There are a lots of small touches in the unit that give a welcoming, generous feeling: quality soaps and shampoos, coffee and cookies in the kitchen, nightlights in the bathrooms. We had a small problem with a coffee maker in the unit during our stay. I informed the property manager, and within an hour a new coffee maker was delivered and installed. The unit is located in a good area, within easy walking distance of nice restaurants and beaches, plus a long walking/cycling path. Plenty of shopping and more restaurants is just a short drive away.

I loved that large lanai! The location was great. We could walk to great restaurants and shops. We snorkeled right off the beach. The pool is amazing and heated! I would recommend this condo to anybody coming to Kauai (as long as mobility isn't an issue where you'd require an elevator). Thank you to the staff at Premier Kaui Vacations, and Owner/Broker Cindy. The attention to detail, professional and friendly service was much appreciated. We had a wonderful time at Lanikai 131. The property is located halfway between a beautiful drive to the Princeville in the North and Poipu due South. The unit is a Penthouse with high end furnishings, well equipped and plenty of room for us and our friends...everyone had privacy with a breathtaking oceanfront view of the ocean to gather and enjoy sea life and the azure Ocean. We walked a block to dining, cocktails and shopping and had everything we needed for an amazing Vacation. Not having to pay the resort fees and parking was a significant savings. The grounds were well kept, very safe with a BBQ, inviting saltwater pool steps away from the sea. We will be back!

The pictures tell the story and live up to the description. Very well maintained, clean, with a well-stocked kitchen. Extra beach equipment available as well. The view from the Liani is outstanding! The beach is not as user friendly as the pictures appear, small area for actual swimming. The general area near the condo is very nice, with many small stores and shops within walking distance. We will certainly be back.

PROS: Property was well appointed. Kitchen is fully stocked although could have used some ziplock bags. Close to stores/restaurants and beaches. Easy beach/pool access. Has a lot of beach equipment which came in handy. The balcony/living room furniture is comfy. CONS: The beds are very mushy. If you like mushy then perfect for you. Tiny ants on kitchen counter. As long as you are able to climb up to the third landing to get to this beautiful condo, then you have selected an amazing place to stay! The condo was very well appointed and provided very comfortable beds and bedding! The furniture is plentiful and very clean and everything is provided from extra bath towels, beach towels, chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, body surf boards, home gym equipment, a plethora of books... the list goes on. The views are spectacular, and a beautiful pool with a grilling station and the ocean is directly in front of you. Thank you to the owners who go out of their way to share their slice of heaven. Words can't do this condo justice. Pictures can't do this condo justice. Every last part of our stay was better than we expected. The location, the interior (it's HUGE!), the decor, comfortable beds, great family room lounging, cozy, clean and modern feel, every last item you can think of for your vacation is packed inside...and that VIEW with that balcony!! It just doesn't get better. We always thought we wanted to live a year or two on Kauai's North shore at some point in our lives. We were wrong. We now want to live in this condo, or at least this location, on the East shore. For you west coasters in the continental US, Lanikai has a North Coast Village vibe from Oceanside, California. Book with absolute confidence. This is a gem. PERFECTION and it exceeded this picky family's expectations 10 times over. We will definitely be back!!

This top floor condo was the perfect accommodations for our two couples visiting Kauai. Only a short distance to airport, this place had a resort feel without the big resort hassles. Beautiful views, close by restaurants and markets, and the comfortable condo had all the necessary things. Should we return, this will be my first look to see if the condo is available to book. We had an amazing time at this condo for 10 days. The unit has absolutely everything we needed during our stay. The beds are comfortable. The a/c was wonderful. Plenty of towels and lots of beach chairs, and noodles etc. There is also a set of golf clubs there.
The deck has the most amazing views and the photos are true to the experience. We didn't have any issues for the property management while there, only a few questions which were answered quickly.
We would definitely rent this unit again!

We have rented many exceptional vacation properties over the years, and this was the best of all. The condo is spacious, immaculate, and has everything you could ask for. Communication was exceptional. The beach is gorgeous, and you can walk to a small shopping center with a variety of restaurants and shops. The location is central to everything the island offers. Can't recommend highly enough- we will definitely be back!

The condo was just amazing! The view from both the living room and master bedroom lanai was beautiful especially for sunrise. It was a quiet area. The condo was clean, beautifully remodeled. The a/c worked perfectly. Both beds were very comfortable. Since there is no elevator and condo is on the third floor, getting up and down 2 flights of stairs was tough but worth it. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommended.

This property is beautiful and full of amenities to make your stay on Kauai perfect. My husband and I stayed with my adult step-son and his girlfriend. We had plenty of room and were able to enjoy the ocean view whenever we were at the condo. The location is very central, roughly half way to the South or North parts of the island. The entire rental process was fluid and the property was very clean. I would absolutely recommend this property.

This is one of the best homes we have ever rented. The condo is large and very well appointed/equipped. It's very quiet and private being an end unit on the third floor, and the view is incredible! You can see and hear the ocean from all except the 2nd bedroom, and the lanai runs the full length of the condo. You can sit outside at a dining table, on an outdoor loveseat and chairs or on a chaise. The perfect place to spend your time when not out exploring the island. Kapaa is a nice, central location from which to explore the other parts of the island. And, it has its own cute downtown with some fun boutiques and restaurants. We had an incredible stay, and we really don't want to leave!

Snorkeling out your back door, exercise equipment at the ready, shops just minutes walking distance, quiet, nice breezeways throughout, everything is available that you could possibly need- you want for nothing in a home. The location is excellent - so close to the beach. At night with the windows open you feel like you are on the beach with the waves crashing at your feet. The unit has been tastefully remodeled recently, and is very well stock for cooking at home and hanging out at the beach. It is on the third floor, so there is no noise from units above you, but you do need to walk up stairs to get there. We would love to stay here again!

Quiet neighbors in surrounding units. We were able to walk w kids, ages 8 and 6, to nearby shopping and restaurants (check out Lava Lava Beach club 4 minute walk away!). Pool was heated and had it to ourselves most of the time. Beach had sand for kids to play in and ocean area blocked off for safe swimming. Sunrises Beautiful! I would give 10 stars and can't wait to return! :)

Your condo was first class with everything we could have asked for and more in a vacation rental. The furnishings were over the top and the kitchen was more than well supplied. The location was also good except for road construction heading south and we had to travel for beach time. Lava Lava Club within walking distance along the beachfront made up for that.

This condo has Amazing Views! A beautiful long lanai from living room to master bedroom! You can hear the waves crashing when you open the windows. This condo was everything as described (and pictured) in the listing...and more! We were not home much due to exploring Kauai sights and activities during our 4-night stay, but when we were, we loved sitting on the lanai enjoying the incredible view and sound of the ocean. We almost wished we had more "down time" at the condo to use the beach and pool more, play board games or work on a jigsaw puzzle (all provided). We did manage to fit in an afternoon of beach time and were thankful for the available umbrella, beach chairs, towels, sunscreen, and cooler. This super clean (THANKS!) condo is on the 3rd floor with no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up multiple flights, but we are strong and healthy so no issues for us there! (We appreciated the exercise and ideal top floor view!) We had a problem with the freezer not working, but the property manager was responsive and came by to check on this unexpected issue. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few times, but we mostly ate out. (We LOVED eating on the beach at Lava Lava, which you can walk to from the condo.) Thank you for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

Over the years, we have stayed in about 10 different properties in Hawaii, and without a doubt this was the most comfortable and luxurious one. The beds and linens are really nice, as are the showers. The lanai is huge, and the view is wonderful. Every appliance worked well, it was clean, the AC was great, it's spacious, and the property manager is responsive. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough about our experience staying at this condo. The place is amazingly beautiful and the views are absolutely stunning. On a more personal note, Cindy Plemer / Premier Kauai vacation rentals is the best! My wife and I have stayed at Lanikai 131 twice now, and both times have had the good fortune to correspond and plan our stay with Cindy. She is absolutely amazing and so thoughtful. On this most recent trip as we corresponded prior to our arrival, Cindy mentioned that Uber and/or taxi's from the Lihue airport might be in short supply. She offered to come and pick us up if needed. I was really hoping that wouldn't be necessary. Unfortunately it was! We arrived at the airport and were told there were NO Ubers available and a two hour wait for a taxi. I called Cindy and she simply said "I'm 10 minutes away, I'll be right there". When we tried to pay her for making her go out of her way to help, she would absolutely have none of it. I believe her words were "That's not the way we roll here on Kauai". She had also arranged for an early check-in knowing that our flight arrived before normal check-in time. To top it off, when we got inside this beautiful condo, there were local fruits and goodies waiting for us. I can honestly say that my wife and I have been to Hawaii numerous times. We have never felt so well cared for as we have with Cindy on our past couple of trips to Kauai and the Lanikai. She is a blessing.

Unbelievable location in Kauai This area of Kapaa is wonderful. The beach area is beautiful, the condo was very quiet and there are plenty of local shops and a small mall within walking distance. Awesome View & Perfect Location Very clean and well-appointed condo with a most gorgeous view of the nearby beach and ocean and constant sound of the surf rolling in--great for sleeping! We were there Mar. 5-12 and could see the whales from our lanai. The living area with two L-shaped sofas and easy chairs provided more than enough comfortable seating and there were ample sofas, chairs, lounges on the large lanai. It was nice to have beach chairs, mats, coolers, umbrella there for our use. The salt water pool was lovely. The condo is in walking distance to restaurants and the Coconut Mall with the Safeway and Foodland very close by. This location is somewhat midway between the North shore and South shore--easy drive to either. Kapaa Condo WOW If you are staying on the east side of Kauai and this property is available, stop your search and book this property. We spent 5 nightsl here and it was amazing. This is a very clean property with awesome views and fabulous finishes. There is air conditioning and every attention to detail was addressed by the property owners. The kitchen is fully stocked with pans that you can fry an egg in or create a five course meal. Also the condo is located on the beach with a pool and grill. Nearby there are great restaurants and shopping. The grocery stores are convenient and it takes about 40 minutes to get the north shore. Wameia Canyon is about an hour an half away, but it is an easy scenic drive. The airport is a convenient 15 minutes away. This is one of those rare cases where the property is better than the photos. We had no complaints and wished we would have scheduled more time on Kauai. The property is located on the third floor and there is no elevator. This was the only negative, but we managed the suitcases without issue. The place sleeps two couples very comfortably. If you choose another property I guarantee you will have wished you chose this one. If we come back to Kauai we will come back here 1/15/2020 at 1:13 AM

Family Trip We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo. The view was amazing and we ate many wonderful meals on the lanai. Unit was well supplied with beach provisions. Our only disappointment was that the beach was closed our entire stay because of bacteria in the water. We were told this was the result of run off from the river after a large storm. Awesome spot on Kauai What a find! We absolutely loved staying at this condo! The pictures are exactly what you find and the interior was very well appointed. In fact, as nice as million dollar homes we’ve stayed at on other islands. The beds are super comfy as well as the many choices to lounge both inside and on the balcony. The view is awesome - even if the clouds didn’t let up. The location was perfect - walk to restaurants, shoppings, beach, and Wailua River activities. The ocean sounds were so soothing! And the unit locks up tight if you prefer the quiet. Nice A/C for hot sleepers. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Our two Teenage girls loved this place - we went out for our anniversary dinner while they ordered pizza at the nearby restaurant and took it back to the condo. The bakery down the road is delicious too. The smart TV allowed for plenty of movie watching. The beach out front had protected spots that were suitable for dipping - we saw some people swimming - but I’d say only for strong swimmers. Fantastic 20 year anniversary stay This was a remarkable condo with stellar views of waves and sunrise. The condo inside was 5 star hotel worthy and had everything we needed. The beds were soft and not too firm, with plenty of pillows. While we did venture out a lot, this spot would also be perfect to simply stay and relax the entire time. I'd be remiss not to mention how attentive Cindy is. I stepped wrong on my first night and twisted my ankle. Cindy happened to be on site and led us through the dark roads to the ER. The Perfect Condo in Kauai! This condo had it ALL! We were so happy we stayed here. It was well decorated, all the appliances were state of the art, wonderfully comfortable living spaces and wonderful beds. And the lanai! Beautiful views and great patio furniture. Couldn't ask for more. Plus the central air was magnificent, it kept the condo at a perfect temperature. Also loved the location. We were only a 45 minute drive to Hanalei, and only 50 minutes to Waimea(the city, not the top of the canyon). Crashing waves lull you to sleep! This rental is top notch. I’ve been a HomeAway renter for over 9 years and was my best experience ever. The condo is clean, organized and really comfortable. From the ocean view bedroom, couches and lanai, you will not be disappointed. Having a top corner unit in a small complex means it is really quiet. We enjoyed swimming in the ocean daily and the saline pool. Being able to walk to restaurants an added plus! Nice to be East side of the island- driving to south or north shore easy. Highly recommended!

We had plenty of room and the owners even had beach chairs and a cooler available which was a nice bonus. My kids especially liked having their own bedroom, tv and bathroom. The master suite was wonderful as well. If we travel back to Kauai, I'd definitely consider staying here. The unit had air conditioning but it was also nice to open the windows and enjoy the ocean breeze. The unit is on the third floor which is great for the view but requires carrying luggage up the steps. Having a washer and dryer is also great if you're planning on hiking. The property is also nice with a small beach and pool. We spent most of our time sightseeing other parts of the island but it made for a relaxing home base. I would definitely stay here again and could not be more pleased with the overall condition of the unit. 7/27/2018 at 2:52 AM

Lanikai 131, A little piece of paradise on call. My family and I have been enjoying this gorgeous renovated unit for years now. The kitchen and living area layout is absolutely perfect. Cooking is enjoyable when you have a stunning view like this! We love the master bedroom which faces the ocean. The sound of surf at night is most relaxing. It has a very cozy private pool area and the beachfront is steps away. This unit is located minutes away from large grocery stores and other amenities. Our favourite is the local bakery that serves the best cafe’ and baked goods a short walk down the road. Paradise at its finest. Kim & David May Vancouver Canada
