This is a well appointed and very comfortable property in a perfect location just above the condo building's pool and a beautiful little accessible pocket beach below. Close to the highway but quiet.
You can count on great floor to ceiling view and the sound of the pounding surf to lull you to sleep. (The beach is not ideal for swimming, a little rough.)
The team managing the property are great communicators, the place is spotless with everything new and fresh, well appointed kitchen, and waking distance to 2 good restaurants.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Hale Awapuhi 1A! This place was even better than we imagined and truly felt like the perfect home base for our family of four.
The location is private, peaceful, quiet, and right on the beach, with incredible views from the kitchen, living room, lanai, and primary bedroom. We loved being able to relax and enjoy the ocean without feeling like we were in a busy resort. The pool was clean, quiet, and just steps from the condo, which was perfect for a relaxing afternoon.
The condo itself was clean, spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The AC was wonderful, the beds were incredibly comfortable (I honestly had some of the best sleep I've had in a long time!), and we really appreciated all the thoughtful beach amenities, books, games, and little extras.
The location on the island couldn't have been better for us. It's centrally located, so we could easily explore both the north and south sides of Kauai without spending hours in the car. We did the Capt. Andy's Na Pali sunset cruise, explored Hanalei Bay, snorkeled at nearby Lydgate Beach, and enjoyed so many other spots in between. There was also great food and drinks within walking distance, including Lava Lava Beach Club, sushi, ramen, a brewery, and the Coconut Marketplace.
Everyone we encountered was so welcoming and helpful, from Cindy the manager to James, the pool guy. It really felt like they cared about making sure guests had a wonderful experience.
We truly couldn't have asked for a better stay. Hale Awapuhi 1A was everything we hoped for and more, and we cannot wait to come back! Highly recommend! 🌺🌴

A1 Hale Awapuhi is immaculately clean, comfy, beautifully decorated, and air conditioned. The kitchen is fully equipped, beds are comfy, and the view is breathtaking. The location is great, a seven minute walk to resturants and great little shops at The Coconut Market Place. We enjoyed BBQing, eating on our Lani that overlooks the pool and listen to the crashing waves. Book this gem, you won't regret it! Perfection in paradise!

Wonderful condo! Quiet nook tucked away with tranquil ocean right outside your back door. Bed was comfy & so was couch. AC working fantastic! We had an amazing time. The only things I saw that could be improved was the flickering lights, doors are a bit cumbersome for my ole arms & maybe some extra info about the trash bins. But I'll recommend this condo to everyone.

This condo was perfect for our week's stay in Kauai. Location, view and ease of contacting the owner was awesome! It was tucked away & so nice & quiet. The pool man maintained the pool on a regular basis. There were only a few things I'd tell the owner. One, the flickering lights in the condo should be repaired, make bedroom doors easier to open & close (60 yr. old me had trouble), the master bathroom shower tended to leak on the floor & make sure older customers know they must walk up & down a few stairs outside condo to get to vehicle. Other than that, I would & will recommend this condo to anyone.

Excellent stay from check-in to checkout. The central location was perfect for getting around the island. The views from this condo are spectacular and the pool was perfect for cooling off. The interior was clean, orderly and comfortable with added bonuses like shower soap, shampoo & conditioner, all the necessities to get started without running to the store immediately upon arrival. The kitchen has everything one needs including spices for cooking. I will definitely be back to Kaua'i and this vacation home will be my first choice for a rental.

There are not many units available in Kauai for a family of 6. Constrained by food allergies, we did a good share of cooking along side enjoyed certain restaurants in the area. Hale Awapuhi gave us an amazing view in the morning with 2 separate whale sightings, a wonderful kitchen with everything we needed, and convenient access to a many attractions. Walking distance of the coconut market, several great restaurants, and a very short drive to lydgate pools, great for kids snorkeling. I was part of a large large group that came to Kauai over 10 days spread across 6 different properties. I was jealous of none of them. Hale Awapuhi would have been my choice every time. Also, shameless plug, go see Limahuli Preserve.

This location is amazing. Great walking distance to several shops/restaurants/beach. Everything inside the condo was clean and beautiful. Beds were comfy & really enjoyed how filled the kitchen was with amenities like coffee, cookies, and cooking essentials. There were also kitties that came to visit us on the patio and they were so sweet just seeking shelter on a rainy day.

Our unit was perfect! Super pretty, clean, stocked kitchen and fresh towels, etc. The view cannot be beat and it was lovely sitting in the living room with the doors open or on our patio. We really enjoyed our week at Hale Awapuhi. This is our favorite part of the island and Hale Awapuhi is really peaceful and mellow in comparison to some other condo complexes we've stayed in. We loved staying here. It's clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything if you want to cook. It's convenient having a washer and dryer in the unit. James and Bryson keep the pool and grounds spotless and are fun to talk to. The view is gorgeous. We were up every morning to watch the beautiful sunrise and had a leisurely swim and happy hour every evening on the lanai before going to dinner. We took advantage of the beach chairs and cooler to have a picnic at Kokee State Park. There is also snorkeling gear among other things if you want to recreate. One great reason to stay here is that the property is so quiet yet you can walk 5 to 10 minutes and eat at some excellent restaurants - Hukeilau Lanai and the Lava Lava Club. Paradise Bakery is across the street, and we walked to Coconut Marketplace in a few minutes. It is also centrally located so that you can go to either end of the island in 45 minutes/an hour if you want to take an excursion along the Napali coast or enjoy an afternoon at Hanalei Bay. Another great reason is the property manager, Cindy, is awesome. She is quickly responsive if you have questions, and she gave us the name of a concierge which offered some wonderful suggestions. Lastly, who doesn't like going to sleep listening to the ocean waves? We would stay here again in a heartbeat! The only regret I have is that I couldn't find a pen to write my thanks in the guestbook before we left for home.

We had the absolute best time staying at The Premier Kauai, Hale Awapuhi unit. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with the best ocean views I have seen. Stunning kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms made the place feel like a whole house. It was very spacious and clean and provided the best place to relax and enjoy beautiful views. My favorite part was the private beach access which had a fun rope swing and was a gorgeous spot for sunrise! Would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking to have the stay of a lifetime. Mahalo for an unforgettable experience we will never forget!

We felt right at home. Our group was my husband and I (50s) with my mom and her husband (80s). The two bedrooms and bathrooms are private, so you feel comfortable sharing the condo. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the beds are very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The bed linens are really nice as well and there are plenty of big bath towels. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The outdoor patio was our favorite place to be. Sitting outside with our beverages watching the ocean as well as the family of Red Crested Cardinals, hens, chicks, snails, little lizards and of course roosters was so much fun! There was an extra closet equipped with so many things like beach towels, chairs, snorkel gear, golf clubs and more. The pool was really nice, it was so close to our patio we didn't even need our flip-flops. There are many restaurants and shops just a short walk away in a really safe neighborhood. We were very comfortable walking at night. Highly Recommended!

Hale Awapuhi 1A is great value and in a fantastic location being only 15 minutes from the airport and half way between the north and south sides of Kauai. My family was able to easily navigate to all the activities we booked all over the island and never felt like we had an excessive drive. There are grocery, retail and pharmacy options very close. The view from the unit is spectacular and the pool is refreshing and kept very clean (thanks James!). The unit included chairs, umbrella and other gear for the beach. The unit does not have AC but it is well ventilated and the breeze from the ocean keeps the place comfortable. The only knock I have on Hale Awapuhi 1A is the master bed. It was not comfortable and had a foam topper on that really made the bed hot to sleep on without AC. That being said, I would certainly consider staying here again. Managers Response:

This property was perfect for our family of 4! We enjoyed being centrally located between lots of beautiful beaches as well as our pre-planned excursions (sunset dinner cruise off the Napali coast, Smith's Fern Grotto boat tour and luau, Mountain tubing down the old sugar cane canals)! Having the Coconut Marketplace to walk to was awesome too! The unit was well stocked with kitchen supplies so we made coffee and breakfast each morning and ate on the lanai with a gorgeous view of the ocean. It was a bit cloudy in the mornings, so we missed the sunrises, but the sunsets & moon rises more than made up for it. Having the use of the beach chairs and umbrella was fabulous, thank you! Would love to stay here again!

This condo was amazing! It has perfect views of the ocean and easy access to a private beach. The pool right off the back patio was a bonus. We loved the roll-away wall that allowed the outdoors to merge with the indoors. Everything was high end! The condo was well-stocked with the essentials- beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, shampoo/conditioner, laundry soap and other housekeeping essentials. One of the best things about this place is the location. You can get to any part of the island in a fairly short amount of time because it's centrally located. Highly recommend!

We love this complex! We have stayed in 3 different units there. #1A is fantastic. We love the location, having the pool [which is very private]. Walk down to the beach easily, but it is not a swimming or snorkeling beach, too rocky unless you go to the north end. Only reason rated a 4 instead of 5 is the unit lacks air conditioning. Our stay at the condo rented from October 8-13 was absolutely fantastic. The Airbnb exceeded our expectations in every way. The stunning views of the ocean from our lanai were breathtaking, especially during breakfast when we could watch the sunrises. The condo was fully equipped with everything we needed for a beach vacation - toys, towels, and even coolers. The size of the kitchen was perfect, allowing us to cook full meals and save money on eating out. With plenty of room for our family of six, we all felt comfortable and at home. The beds were also very comfortable, had a lot of pillows and clean. Additionally, the location of the condo was ideal as it was close to everything we wanted to do. We are already planning to return to this Airbnb. It truly made our vacation memorable, and we highly recommend it to others.

This condo is beautiful. Cindy and staff are very kind, prompt in answering our questions and so easy to work with. The ocean view is amazing, the property grounds are lovely, and the pool sparkling clean. When we were “home” we enjoyed the beautiful lanai so very much. We loved that this complex is small (9 units, 2 and 3 bedroom), centrally located and well taken care of. Not only that, the bakery across the small street has yummy malasada available T/Th/Sat.

Always a pleasure staying at Hale Awapuhi on Kauai. The unit offers everything we need during our visit. Beautiful, well-maintained grounds, gorgeous views, all the amenities. It’s walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, Lava Lava (live music), and the walking trail. The manager, Cindy Reynolds-Plemer, with Premiere Kauai Vacation Rentals, is a pleasure to work with. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. As other reviews have stated, the view is just wonderful. Took a picture every morning as we didn't miss a single sunrise. The condo is modern, clean and spacious. I think this unit is the best of them. It was peaceful and never felt like a crowed resort will. Yes there were chickens with the roosters crowing every morning but we thoroughly enjoyed it as we never wanted to miss the sunrise. Thought no AC would be an adjustment but airflow was good. Tip to future renters, the garage door opener like item hanging by the front door is for the gate so grab it. It wasn't obvious or notated (at least we missed it). The other mention is the beach is not really a beach you sit at and swim. Access is also not easy, steps are a drop down with branches at the bottom. Sand is rough and deep with much debris so one of our family members could not walk it. Rocks are in the water and can be rough with waves. To have the true beach experience, you need to plan on going to another beach. That did not take away from our experience at all. When we went down to the beach at the condo, we looked at it as more of a walking adventure especially at low tide. James (pool guy) and Bryson (grounds guy) were both very friendly and a joy to talk to. Quaint Market area with shops/restaurants 5 minute walk away and also by Lava Lave Beach club were both great and we visited multiple times. We would definitely stay here again!!

The best thing about this place was the view and the lanai. It just can not be beat. Very spacious with a well appointed kitchen. The beach is not great for swimming but it is beautiful to sit watch and listen to. We were quick to make friends with the rooster! Kids enjoyed the very clean and well maintained pool. Wifi was good if needed for work etc. It could use new and better fans for more circulation as I had to take the existing ones apart to clean. Overall a nice spot for a few days. We visited Lava Lava multiple times as it had decent food and amazing views and vibe. The coconut shopping center and farmers market all within walking distance were great to have close by.

The property was fantastic. Our stay was for 8 nights during the first week of June, 2023. The views were amazing, it was hard to leave the lanai! The pool was very clean made great friends with the pool manager, James. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time. We saw the turtles every morning and evening down at the beach. There was even a sea lion that ventured up onto the beach for some sun. The only downside was there was not easy walking access to one of the beaches from the condo. The beach that was accessible had a great “ocean stream” for little ones to play in. We were able to do a little snorkeling at the beach by the condo but the waves were pretty big during our stay, but still had fun in the waves. We cooked dinner every night in the amazing kitchen and ate as a family outside. Both rooms were very comfortable. The hide a bed could use a different mattress, but it does have an amazing view. The condo was in a great location to call home for 8 days. We spent one our days up at tunnels beach and also ventured the other direction to Polihale on another day. I would say that the condo is right in the middle. We have never been to Kauai before this trip. Do your research and make reservations for the parks if needed. We rented a 4 Wheel drive just in case and we did need it going to Polihale and to one of the waterfall trails. I could go on and on about our time in Kauai…. Definitely would stay here again if available. We will be back!

Describing the views does not do it justice. You have to see if for yourself. We had dinner on the lanai every night. Simply amazing. The Condo was super clean and had a very nice kitchen. Everything you could need is in the Condo. The pool was super clean as the pool guy (super nice) was there every evening. Plenty of seating inside and on the lanai. We love this Condo and will defiantly be back. Cindy was also very kind and quick to respond. Thank you Cindy!

We loved our stay here! Beautiful views and the grounds and pool are well maintained. We couldn't get enough of sitting on the patio and taking it all in! The condo has lots of room and everything you need for having a wonderful time! This property had an incredible location, and it was just as described. We all decided that we could easily stay here for a month or longer. You can walk to several coffee and food choices, so we grabbed lunch and dinner and came back and ate on the porch, which we loved.

This home was amazing!! Very clean, awesome kitchen! My sister-in-law and I could move around each other with ease cooking meals. The view is absolutely priceless. 10 minute walk to coconut marketplace. There is a bakery right behind the condo, try the Malasades they are yummy. Seen whales breaching on are catamaran trip from port Allen. It's an awesome island and condo. Thanks Cindy

We had a wonderful time during our stay on Kauai! The views are 10/10. We watched the sun rise every morning, and the surfers and paddleboarders during the day. The condo has everything you'll need, with a well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and plenty of beach gear (toys, chairs, cooler, snorkel, umbrella, boogie board). The complex is small and quiet, the grounds are great, parking is easy, and within walking distance of resteraunts, store, shopping, bakery (eat the melasadas!).

The perfect setting for our get together. The house really does have one of the best views from inside or out on the lanai. Great places to eat within walking distance and centrally located to get to all places on the island within an hour. The place was well stocked with toiletries,things for the kitchen and anything you would need for a beach day including beach chairs, umbrella, lots of towels, some snorkel gear and a cooler. Would definitely stay here again!

This condo was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. It is quiet, relaxing and breathtaking views. My kids are college age and loved just hanging out at the pool and not having to be anywhere at a certain time. We could enjoy Hawaii, in our pajamas, eating breakfast on the lanai....from Passion Bakery (across the street)! The condo comes nicely stocked with everything you might need (and then some). It is the best stocked condo I have stayed at. Cindy even has pool towels and golf clubs! If you are worried about not having an AC (I have hot blooded family... except for me.) They all whined about it prior to the trip but no one said a word about being hot when we were there... It was refreshing having the ocean air blow through the condo. We even saw sea turtles! Thank you Cindy, for everything especially the recommendations for for outings.

Would definitely stay here again. It was awesome to be on the ground level and completely open the patio doors to the pool area. It felt like it was cleaned thoroughly, and the location was great. It was great to have a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and a reserved parking spot for the unit. No issues with the wifi. The main bedroom off the kitchen has a barn door, so you can get some noise from the living room/kitchen. Since there's no a/c we left the windows open at night but did not seem to notice any significant noise from traffic.

First, you feel safe in a gated community. Then you walk in the condo…oh my, the view is absolutely awesome. The kitchen is situated so you can see the view without anything in the way. We sat outside watching and listening to the waves almost all the time. The unit was so clean. And Cindy was so responsive to anything. James, the pool guy was so friendly. When you come to Kauai, this is a must stay place!

What an amazing place and the view should be on a postcard. The pool and beach is steps away from this unit we stayed in. We had coffee every morning watching the sunrise from our lanai and dinner. It has a great kitchen and a livingroom with comfort furniture. The master bedroom has a partial view of the ocean and enjoyed everyday the breeze from the ocean. Family friendly, we had our kids and 10 month old granddaughter and prefect for the little one. We will be back and will rent this place again.

The location and condo were great for our group. We enjoyed having the door to the lanai open all the way and the grounds & pool easily accessible. With the slider in the bedroom open at night we could hear the waves. Kitchen is well stocked. Might want to pick up oil & spices if you like to cook & want to have a variety. The second half of the week was humid which made it a little hard to sleep since there is no A/C. We will definitely stay here again.

We were finally able to make it back to Kauai and stayed at Hale Awapuhi, 1A. My family loves this unit and the complex. It is on the first floor which makes it easy for my 98 year old mother to get around. The unit is roomy and has all the amenities. We spent a lot of time relaxing at the pool that looks over the beach and ocean and met nice folks from all over the world. We were within walking distance to the Coconut marketplace, with its farmer's market, shops and restaurants. My brothers even made it all the way to Kapa'a. The property manager, Cindy, was awesome and she made sure we were enjoying ourselves and had what we needed. We are already planning our next trip in 2022.

Everything was clean. The ocean is right there...1 minute walk. The pool is right out your slider door. A gated community of 8 Condos...nice! Manager, Cindy was very helpful. The condo could use some tupperware:) We really enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner on the patio, watching and listening to the ocean.

The house was clean, modern, and the kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with everything we could need! The host was so sweet and amazing with communication, and the air bnb was in a great location, right next to the town of Kapa'a! Overall, we loved it so much!!

What an amazing unit and place this is that is centrally located on the island. The condo is so roomy and has everything that you could want and then some. I love the secluded location that sits back off of any main roads. This unit looks brand new inside and is very tastefully decorated.
Outside on lanai you have a huge table plus lounge chairs. Epic place for just 2 or a large family.
Pool is perfect size and you might even have to yourself like we did.
I highly recommend this condo.

We cant say enough about this place and the comfort provided by Cindy and her team during the stay. Cindy was excellent in her communication and made sure we had a comfortable stay. The home itself is so so beautiful. It is well equipped for longer stays and the view is mesmerizing. We loved hearing the ocean sound every night. Our son enjoyed a lot in the pool. We will surely come back to this place as this has become one of our favorite places for vacation.
