Start your meal off with an order of bao, steamed buns stuffed with braised pork belly, pickled slaw, cucumbers, cilantro, and peanuts. Then select your choice bowl of ramen, the ingredients of which range from seared ahi to fried tofu. Select additional add-ons, such as a fish or chicken skewer, house-made kimchi, or spicy miso, among other options.

Planning Your Meal at Ama Restaurant
Ama Restaurant is located in Kauai’s North Shore town of Hanalei at 5-5161 Kuhio Hwy. They are open from Wednesday through Saturday from 5-9pm and are closed Sunday through Tuesday. Reservations are welcomed but not required and can be made by calling the Ama staff at (808) 826-9452. Located near the famed Hanalei Bay, one of Kauai’s most beautiful beaches, Ama makes a great stop after a day at the beach.
