Once you have arrived on the garden’s enchanting grounds, stroll through a series of themed gardens to take in a variety of plant species and art pieces. The Formal Garden, which features a large reflecting pool and a stunning bronze sculpture by French artist Henri-Léon Greber, and the Bamboo Garden, which is filled with towering bamboo trees and winding paths, are two particularly stunning areas.

Another must-see feature of Allerton Garden is the Moreton Bay Fig Tree, a massive tree with sprawling roots and a trunk that measures more than 60 feet in circumference. The tree was featured in the original Jurassic Park movie and is truly a sight to behold.

Throughout the garden, visitors will find a wide variety of tropical plants, including palms, hibiscus, heliconia, and ginger. The garden is also home to several species of birds, including the Nene, the state bird of Hawaii.
