His passion for serving others led him to enlist in the US Marine Corps, where he served as an Infantryman for five years, achieving the rank of Sergeant and completing deployments across West Africa. Upon returning to his beloved Kauai, Jonah transitioned into the realm of Information Technology, embarking on a five-year tenure that saw him rise from a Level 1 Technician to the esteemed position of Senior Project Engineer. His technical expertise and dedication were evident as he navigated through various roles, demonstrating his adaptability and leadership capabilities. Beyond his IT career, Jonah's creative spirit finds expression as a Live Sound Engineer with Kamaile Events LLC, where he orchestrates unforgettable events and shows throughout the island. Now, Jonah brings his wealth of experience and dedication to Premier Kauai, where he serves as a vital member of our Property Management and sales force. In 2013, I embraced a new challenge by transitioning to the realm of long-term property management. Managing an extensive portfolio of over 200 units, I efficiently handled a diverse range of responsibilities, from conducting thorough home inspections to overseeing owner pay-outs. My tenure in this sector not only honed my management skills but also propelled me to become well-versed in cutting-edge property management software, including Appfolio and our MLS system. My dedication and leadership qualities were recognized in 2022 when I assumed the prestigious position of President of the Kauai Board of Realtors.
